You've Got To Be Kidding

By Tim Philbin

The Department of Public Service is going to spend $15,000 of our money to study how to reduce the cost of home heating oil.

They will be taking bids from "consulting firms" to analyze such things as "alternative fuels harvested from Vermont forests".

Fifteen thousands dollars for a study to discover an alternative fuel in Vermont forests?

It's called - WOOD !

Gov. Jim Douglas has asked for the study to be completed by March 2009.

It's called WOOD !

Advocates said the study won't be out in time to help folks this year but the information gathered will be able to help consumers in advance of the next heating season 2009 - 2010.

It's Called WOOD !

Someone call the Governor and let him know that WOOD has been discovered in Vermont forests so we can save ourselves a few bucks!
