But It's For A Good Reason

By Tim Philbin

Remember the 2000 election ? You know, the one in which George Bush was said to have stolen the outcome from Al Gore. With the help of the Supreme Court George was able to have himself declared the new leader of the free world. Or least that is what some would have you believe.

Fast forward to the 2004 election.

Similar accusations were being thrown around so much so that Democrats had a small army of lawyers ready to challenge the outcome of votes across the country.

The media constatly covered accusations of "potential" fraud. There were even stories about voter machines that could be rigged to change the outcome.

No vast conspiracy was uncovered. Sure there were some snafu's as happens every election day.

Today however a vast conspiracy seems to exist to fix the election outcome yet no news organization seems concerned enough to give it much coverage.

Voter registration fraud is being investigated in a number of states. An organization close to democrats and presidential candidate Barack Obama, ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is at the heart of the problem.

Yes, the same group that pressured banks to make home mortgage loans to unqualified borrowers. Yet the press is giving little play to the problem.

I guess if it helps the right person win the White House it's OK because it is for a good cause.
