Who's To Blame?

The "Blame Game" is in full swing in Washington. I'm sure you have heard some of it, it's Wall Street, the rich and powerful insiders, George Bush and his lack oversight... the list goes on.
Heck, some are even blaming "capitalism".
Here's a great rule of thumb. Whenever the guys and gals in Washington begin to blame every one for a problem it's usually because they had something to do with it. This mess with the mortgage meltdown is no exception.
An even bigger indicator of their guilt and culpability is when they decide to hold hearings and investigations. That is a sure fire indication of their guilt.
You probably have heard that Congress has asked for the FBI to investigate Wall Street CEO's and what they did or didn't do to create this mess in the financial markets.
Be advised this problem is the direct result of social engineering of home lending practices, inside cronyism by leading Democrats and select GOPers and personal profiteering by political friends and former colleagues.
Deny if you want but the facts do not lie ... which is more than can be said of the biggest complainers on Capital Hill

Your presentation of this debacle on Thursday's show (9/25/08) was so inspiring I told my homeschooled son it was mandatory listening. As an aspiring business major he needs to know this information.

At times I think you're just 'preaching to the choir' but it sounds from your email a large part of your listeners are still ignorant, belligerent and hard-headed. They appear uninterested in the truth.

What you say not only makes sense but is the truth. Do not let up on this topic. Sometimes people need to be hit over the head with the facts before it finally sinks in.

Is this Washington DC debacle the 'October Surprise' the politicians have been alluding to? Will it inspire a massive voter turnout?
